What: Reed’s Crossing Community Garage Sale

Where: At the homes of participating residents

When: Saturday, October 4th, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Don't let old junk take up valuable space in your cabinets or garage! The Reed's Crossing Social Committee is hosting a community-wide garage sale for any owners who would like to participate. Just open your garage, make sure you have plenty of change, and let your trash become someone else's treasure!

Gotta Have Coffee will be available for purchase. Wake up with a warm latte or celebrate a successful sale with an iced tea! They will be parked near Tamarack Park from 7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

The Social Committee is coordinating with several local entities to bring convenient donation stations to the community for the day. See below for details. 

DONATION STATIONS

Near Tamarack Park

Available from 12:00 - 3:00 P.M.

- Habitat for Humanity ReStore will take unwanted, unsold household items. Please click here for a list of accepted items.

- FreeGeek Technology Recycling will take electronics off your hands and recycle or repurpose them locally. A list of accepted technology donations can be found here.

- ShredNW will be accept sensitive documents that you'd like to have professionally shredded and disposed of. This service is free to residents. View paper preparation requirements here.

- The Little Free Library Committee will collect gently used books, puzzles, and board games. Items collected will be used to fill existing community libraries when needed. 

- The Community Garden Committee will collect used garden tools for their tool library.

Please click here to sign-up if you plan to participate. The Social Committee will provide general signage around the community and place a balloon near each participating unit, but homeowners are encouraged to place their own signs as well. Just don't forget to remove them when the sale is over, please!

*If you do not complete the form but do decide to participate you will not receive a balloon or be included in the sale map, however you are still welcome to join in. More information regarding sale map below. Sign-ups will remain open through October 1st.
